Ride for Rotary

The Ride for Rotary roots can be traced back to a campfire in Laconia, New Hampshire during the area's 81st Bike Week in June of 2004. CBRC member Don Richards came up with the idea that Rotarians could gather and ride for a reason while sipping a post ride beer by that very campfire overlooking Lake Winnisquam.

While it took a few years to get off the ground Don was sure it could be pulled off and his determination and Rotary Spirit made it come to life. The first year was a wonderful success and his dream is that one day Rotarians all over the world will ride on a day we choose for a cause near and dear to them.

What follows are pictures of our inaugural ride, the first of many to come.
