Brainchild of member Tom Turck and his wife Jennifer who at the time were Campaign chairs of our local United Way , the inaugural United Way Polar Bear Plunge went off as a huge success on February 26, 2010 . Members of our Breakfast Club raised an estimated $4,000 toward the effort and had a great time along the way. Here is the evidence.
