Joe During, a lifetime Fire Fighter and huge proponant of fire safety, organizes a club effort to repaint area fire hydrants. Of course fire safety is Joe's passion and he's an ambitious catalyst for this important community project. Thanks again Joe!

Here are some pictures of our fire hydrant painting project for the United Way Day of Caring.  Rita and I had a great time.  We painted eight hydrants.  Doesn't sound like much, but when each hydrant takes about half hour, the time adds up.
